Orla Gogarty

Orla has almost 40 years of clinical, management and academic experience in the NHS, Medicare Canada, the HSE, TCD and the not-for-profit sector. She has a proven track record in leading strategic technology, transformational and informatics projects including Ireland’s first integrated electronic mental health record and Patient Portal and more recently the integration of remote mental health service pathways at scale. Orla promotes a rights-based approach to health information access to empower service users to active participants in their treatment, care and recovery. In addition, Orla collaborates with a number of European and national forums to support innovation, professional training and smart practice in mental health.
