The introduction of Health Regions is one of the largest internal reorganisations of the HSE since its founding in 2004. During the pandemic, Sarah provided epidemiological updates to NPHET and worked on establishing the COVID GeoHIVE as a trusted source of information. Prior to joining the Department of Health, Sarah worked in the Royal College of Physicians on a number of quality improvement programmes.
