With over 10 years at MSD, Sinead has held various commercial, digital and communications roles within the company. In her current role leading a cross-functional team, she drives the commercial and access strategy for vaccines in Ireland in both public and private markets for MSD’s vaccine portfolio. Sinead oversees critical disease areas including Human Papillomavirus (HPV), pneumococcal disease, varicella (chickenpox) and MMR. She is dedicated to streamlining processes, advocating for patients, and building resilience within the health system, building on the company’s focus for supporting under-served and under-represented populations.
With extensive experience in communications and patient engagement, she excels in creating programmes to enhance system capability and, both healthcare professional and patient experience. Her deep understanding of the health landscape, coupled with a genuine passion for women’s health, drives her to address critical issues and implement effective solutions. Sinead’s commitment to advancing women’s health is evident through her strategic initiatives and advocacy efforts. Sinead is a co-founder of the MSD Ireland’s Women’s Network and is the former leader of MSD Women’s Network in Europe, promoting diversity and inclusion in STEM and beyond.
