Selina has worked in Nursing since 1996. She was the Electronic Patient Record Nurse Lead on the Project Oak Team in St James’s Hospital and worked on developing and implementing the Electronic Patient Records which went live in October 2018.
Selina is passionate about the provision of safe, efficient, effective healthcare and in using information technology solutions and data driven metrics to achieve this. She has also seen firsthand the positive impact that IT solutions can have on standardising and improving patient care delivery and outcomes.
Having completed her Diploma in Nursing programme in St James’s Hospital Dublin and Trinity College Dublin, Selina was awarded a Bachelor in Nursing Science from Trinity College Dublin, and a Masters in Quality & Safety in Health Care Management from the RCSI, Institute of Leadership. She has also completed a Diploma in Innovation through Design Thinking in UCC.
